Saturday Night

Have been very busy redoing the house!  Dean has been hard at work de-cluttering. He has painted my kitchen, repaired the 2nd bathroom, repainted the den.  He is now in process of taking the wallpaper down from the living and dining rooms!  It has been a real adventure for him.  Seems like the people we had put on the paper didn't prep or prime the walls before they put it up, so it has been a real challenge to get it down.  It is going to look so nice when it is done.  Will post pics!

Very Busy Weekend!

Very successful garage sale! Over $2000 of stuff sold, & the rest donated to charity! Motorcycle almost gone....praying that the man decides to buy! Newly painted kitchen, and new track lighting! Other upstairs bathroom repaired and painted! Finally remembered to buy propane for the grill, fired it up for a steak dinner tonight! A very busy and successful weekend! Thanks to Dean for all his hard work, thanks to Brenda and My Mom for their help in the garage sale, and thanks to Bruce for his help, and thanks to my neighbors Todd and Shannon, and Ty and Pacy for their help!!!

Forgot to take my antihistamine this morning a paid for it this evening.  The hives reappeared.   Guess I really need them!!! 

Garage Sale Saturday and Sunday

the hard work is about to begin!!!!!  Hopefully everything sells!!!!

Yesterday...

Bought a new battery for the Harley!  Thank goodness it started right up!  Next Step is to get it sold!  


We also sifted and organized a lot of stuff in the garage.  There is a yard sale in the very near future. 

What a day

It took us all day to go thru my closets to thin them out.  I'm getting rid of about 4 large bags of clothes!  the closets look great!!!! Will have pictures soon of the finished bedrooms and bathroom!  Finally getting to the point that I'm ready to take and post pics.  Whew!  we are tired!!!!  Tomorrow it will be time to do the garage.  Will go in the morning to Harley Davidson and get yet another battery!  and a crop at noon!  A very busy day!

Thursday

Well, plans changed a bit...starting in my bedroom first and the second bedroom setting them up. All bedrooms will be bedrooms very soon. Not being used for storage....  Gotta have something to show my Momma!  Finding all kinds of treasures.  On the motorcycle I'm trying to sell, we took out the battery and it was melted a bit!  Ouch!  So its off to buy another battery soon!  :-(.  Hopefully the electrical system isn't shot!  We are making great progress!

Wednesday

Going to be off of work the rest of the week.  We will be doing work on the water damage in the other bathroom, and starting on the garage clean up with help from my newest friend Dean!  Thanks!  I need all the help I can get!  I know my Mom is going to be happy as I am to see a clean garage!  it has been a mess for way too long!  Who knows what treasures we may find!

Darn it all!

:-( Looks like there may be another bathroom repair/renovation in the near future. Just found that there is a leak of some sort causing damage in the other upstairs bathroom. Seeing damage on the garage ceiling and around the shower. Beginning to think that idiot builders built this house

About had a freak out!

My iPhone stopped working!  Thankfully I was able to look up the troubleshooting guide on the internet, and found out how to reset the thing.  Thank goodness it fixed it!!!!!

Thursday

Need to get my act together with my diet.  I gained 1.6lbs this week!  ARG!  

Today the chore after I came home was installing the new air filter.  It had an upgrade kit I had to install first.  So one down one to go.  Installed the one in the basement, will install the one in the attic on another day! 

Hump Day

Well, I came home today and edged the driveway and sidewalks.  And then got the blower out and cleaned up!  Baking some chicken!  And worked out!  Where did all this energy come from?  Who knows!!!
Now that I've worn myself out....its time for bed!!!

Well it is Tuesday!

Put in a full days work, and then came home and mowed the front yard.  It was starting to get a little tall, and seeing that it is supposed to rain everyday the rest of the week and this coming weekend, thought it would be best if I did it today.  So now it is time to relax!  The season finale of Glee is on tonight!  So that is what I'll be occupied with this evening!

It was back to the grind today!  Looking forward to the next 3 day weekend!   Watched Last Comic Standing tonight!  pretty funny stuff!  Night all!

Sunday!

Had a very good day!  Went and saw Prince of Persia.  Very good movie! 

I had the best weekend I've had in a while.

It's now Saturday Evening

Ended up at Ikea with a friend this afternoon :-).   Found a great pillow for my bed.
I'm now sitting on the deck have a drink or two with my room mate.  I sure hope we can behave!  LOL!

YAY!  Momma and Daddy are home from their vacation!!!!!

Need to find something fun to do!

Going to go an find something fun to do out side of the house.  Spend too much time here and need to get out more!!!

Sure am happy it is Friday!  It is really storming outside.  The power has went out twice already.  I hope it blows over soon!  I think it may be time for a little nap! 

30 years ago today

I just saw that a friend posted on Facebook that the Duluth High School Class of 1980 graduated 30 years ago today!  Gosh!  I feel so OLD!!!!! 

Tuesday

It was back to the grind today at work.  The long weekend went by too quickly.  Made a wonderful meal tonight.  Pecan encrusted Cod Fish, baked potato, and spinach tomato fresh mozzarella salad with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.  It was all delicious.  Currently watching Glee.  I love this show.

The weekend

Nothing much going on today! Just figuring out blogging, and looking into how to make money on the internet. I have a new friend that is doing this. Very interesting, so I'm checking it out.

It will be nice to get rid of unwanted items and get the garage cleared out so that I can park the car in it.
